The Office 25 is a highly economical digital terminal which includes a basic alpha numeric display allowing name dialling and caller ID plus display of missed calls and text messages. Cost effective digital system telephone

The Office 25 brings the advantages of the Ascotel system to any environment. Because it offers high functionality with the convenience of an alpha-numeric display at a cost effective price it is the ideal choice for lower volume telephone users.

Alpha numeric display

The Office 25 alpha-numeric display shows the number dialled, speed dial by name, display of the past 4 calls with redial option, list (by name if available) of up to 4 missed calls plus on screen intuitive prompts to use with the "Fox key" to access the system features.

Fox key for intuitive user guidance

Like the other members of the Office family the Office 25 features an ingenious Fox key. One touch of the Fox key takes you to the most appropriate function. If, for example, someone calls you on the Office 25 in your absence and leaves a message, just press the Fox key to have the message played back automatically. Functions like callback, switching between calls or conference calls can also be selected simply by pressing or holding down the Fox key.

Four programmable keys

The four programmable keys of the Office 25 allow you to store two numbers per key and call them up simply by pressing the key once or twice. Or they can be used as function keys to activate or deactivate various functions.

10-number personal speed dial memory

Up to 10 speed-dial numbers can be stored under the number keys in addition to the system wide directory.

Loudspeaker for on-hook dialing and call monitor

With the in-built loud speaker, you can dial on-hook, receive group paging calls and monitor a call in progress.

LED light for optical signalling of calls and messages

The LED light performs several practical functions: It flashes to indicate an incoming call, which together with the adjustable ringing volume is extremely useful in noisy environments. It also lights up if a caller has left a voice mail or wishes to be called back. All you do then is press the Fox key to automatically activate the relevant function.

2 line alphanumeric display

The Office 35 is designed to be easy to use whist still offering access to the extensive range of system features. The two line alpha numeric display prompts the user at each stage of a call and includes both the callers ID including name if stored in the system or private directories, plus a named department that the caller is seeking (DDI naming) e.g "Accounts Dept" to assist with call answering by routing the call to the correct recipient.

Handsfree speech as standard

The Office 35 includes full handsfree speech for added convenience, allowing the user to continue with operation of a keyboard etc. A one touch microphone mute button is also available to provide privacy during the conversation if required.

Technical Data

As Ascotel IntelliGate supports G.711 and G.729 data communication standards and QoS (Quality of Service) tagging, voice packets are given priority over data packets for network transmission, ensuring an uninterrupted telecommunications channel. The Ascotel Office 35IP phone comes with an integrated mini-switch that connects to the company LAN and allows a laptop or PC to be connected at the same time, only one LAN point is required.

The 'IP enabled' IntelliGate PBX range can be supplied either wall or rack mounted, and both versions provide the same exceptional functionality and future proofing expected from a Voice over IP enabled phone system.

Aastra targets small Call Centres & Remote applications with new Office 1600 IP 'Soft Phone'

Launched for small call centre capability, Aastra Telecom UK has introduced a brand new Office 1600 IP screen-based Soft Phone with an Open Interface Platform to integrate additional third party applications. The Office 1600 IP Soft Phone further extends the range of IntelliGate IP phone options for remote workers and VoIP applications as well as offering a highly featured screen based phone for office-based departments such as help desks, service centres and sales groups, where accessing databases quickly whilst on the telephone is essential.

Using existing data networks, the IntelliGate Office 1600IP Soft Phone can link from anywhere in the world into the company's central Ascotel IntelliGate telephone system as if it were in the same building. The extended 'group working' capability enables agents to log in and log out and access all the key features they need to efficiently operate a highly professional small call centre at a fraction of the cost of a fully blown ACD system.

CTI inter-operability

The screen information can be tailored to the individual users requirements and the Open Interface Platform (OAI) also allows for Computer Telephony Integration applications such as Procall and SmartPhone for even more efficient call handling and customer service.

The Office 1600 IP is able to use both USB or Blue tooth connectivity for handset or headset capability, although a standard PC connection is also available.
