Landline to Mobile

Midland Mobiles have recognised that landline to mobile call
charges account for a large percentage of our customers phone bills. These
charges can be reduced by fitting a GSM gateway to a phone system, converting
the calls to a mobile to mobile rate. Landline to mobile calls often account
for 70% of billing costs, but only 30% of the duration.
How
does it work?
The GSM gateway is an intelligent device which recognises
that a call is to a mobile when the digits 07 are dialled from any handset
within the system. The call is then routed through a cross network sim card
that sits within the gateway. Each sim will carry the relevant amount of
minutes needed for each individual customer.
The GSM gateway equipment ranges from individual devices
that carry 1 sim for the smaller business through to a 19” rack that
carries 128 sims for the larger corporate enterprises. Each device is designed
to work with almost any phone system whether it is analogue or digital,
BT or Cable. If technology is the only way to save money then why
not use it?
