HiPath Cordless

System Connection:

HiPath Cordless is modularly configured with integrated radio switching modules for the HiPath voice platforms. Base stations are digitally connected to the HiPath platform and can support up to 12 concurrent calls each. Modular configuration enables cost effective installations and flexible growth. HiPath Cordless integrates into the established maintenance and administration system of the installed HiPath communications platform, which makes HiPath Cordless simple to maintain and manage.

Gigaset Handsets:

HiPath Cordless supports the user-friendly family of Gigaset handsets, which have excellent voice quality and an intuitive user interface. Various Gigaset models support both office and industrial environments, with the Gigaset M being certified to IP65 for splash and dust protection. Gigasets offer superior operating times too, with up to 200 hours of standby time. All models offer access to the rich set of features on the host platform including consultation, conference, and call-forwarding.. All are accessible from the easy-to-use on screen menus.

Roaming and Handover:

The radio coverage required in buildings or on company grounds is achieved with multi-cell technology. The radio cells of the installed base stations can stretch to 50m indoors and 300m outdoors. They overlap so that calls can be conducted without interruptions as users move about the campus. In addition, HiPath platforms can be networked such that mobile users can use their Cordless device on remote sites as well as on the home campus. All devices are registered to their home system, and all calls are encrypted, making sure mobile communications are secure.

Communication Platforms:

HiPath Cordless solutions are available in two configurations. HiPath Cordless Office supports small and medium installations and operates on the HiPath 500, 3000, and 5000 communication platforms. HiPath Cordless Enterprise supports large installations and operates on the HiPath 4000 communication platform.
