Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
Toshiba telephone systems integrate with voice over IP telephony gateway products that provide service enhancing and cost effective applications to small and medium size customers with multiple offices and/or homeworkers.
The introduction of a VoIP integrated card sends voice signals onto a LAN and enables communication across a WAN. Extensive R&D employing IP protocols has resulted in compression techniques that allow several voice and data calls to share a single 64K ISDN line.
Remote worker groups can now enjoy the same digital telephones and have transparent access to the same features as extensions users in the main site. Our gateway products also enable companies to enjoy a single shared voicemail system.
